COVID-19. What We're Doing For You & For Ourselves
Updated: Nov 22, 2022
It’s pretty scary what’s going on in the world right now. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic is already having a huge impact on communities and businesses large and small throughout the world.
It’s hard to understand what’s going to happen next as we’re all still coming to terms with what this will truly mean for us today, let alone tomorrow.
Here at CubeSquared, we’re putting in place a number of measures to safeguard our team and their families, the service we provide to our clients and the wider community, which we’d like to tell you about.
LOOKING AFTER OURSELVES
As of this week (w/c 16th March 2020), all CubeSquared staff are going to be working remotely from home. Many of them do anyway, so are well used to it, and because of this you shouldn’t see any disruption.
We feel this is the right thing to do to protect our staff, their families, our clients and the communities in which we work.
Even in our short existence, we still have good experience of working remotely and our initial investment in the tools and technology we use every day, means we don’t anticipate any real impact on the CubeSquared service or our customer support.
For the most part, and as far as our teams and clients are concerned, it’s going to be business as usual for us here at CubeSquared Digital.
LOOKING AFTER OUR CLIENTS
Keeping CubeSquared Digital up and running is obviously going to be our top priority. These are incredibly turbulent times for small businesses like us, but we are determined to overcome them.
In the great scheme of things, it might be the tiniest of concerns when people are dying, and we know many of you will be worrying about much more than building websites or writing great content for it. We get it.
The impact on small businesses like us may be profound and for many, terminal. The prospect of increased social distancing could mean entirely new ways of working for many of you. Being productive at home, while still keeping in touch with each other, is going to be more important than ever, so look out for more tips and advice from us very soon on that front.
You may have seen some of our social media posts this week in terms of how we can help customers who will start to feel the very real economic impact over the next few months. To start with, we’re going to offer free services to other small businesses to try and mitigate some of the loss of revenue.
To any small businesses, community groups, CICs, voluntary organisations and charitable organisations, we’re offering free web design and copywriting services to add features to increase revenue.
Whether that’s adding delivery where you don’t currently offer it, or writing content to drive traffic to your site to help sell products you already offer. Basically, if there’s anything we can do to help, PLEASE let us know.
We believe in the ethos of collaboration, not competition and this is a time for us all to come together and help each other survive.
The next few months are going to be a difficult and uncertain time for many of us, but we want to assure you that CubeSquared will be here to support your business as much as we can.
Please consider following us across our social media platforms (linked below) to keep up-to-date on what we’re doing and how we can help each other. Stay safe and we'll get through this stronger together.
